Welcome to TeachUp.ai, operated by CareerQuest App, LLC (“TeachUp”). We provide teachers and school staff with online access to artificial intelligence tools through our website. Our services are designed to help teachers and schools educate and prepare students for a bright future. At TeachUp, we prioritize safety and respect your privacy.

TeachUp ("we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website teachup.ai including any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected thereto (collectively, the "Site"). Protection of Minors

We don’t collect PII of students or minors. Our Services do not request, permit, or encourage users to submit any student personal identifiable information. We do not seek to collect any sensitive data, such as names, addresses, student IDs, or any other information that could directly identify a student.

If a user accidentally submits student personal identifiable information while using our application, we have implemented measures to promptly identify and delete such information from our records. We consider any accidental submission of student PII as an inadvertent breach of our privacy policy and will take immediate action to rectify the situation.

Upon identification of any accidentally submitted student PII, we will delete it from our systems as soon as possible.

What type of data we collect

You may visit our Websites if you wish without creating an account or providing us with any information about yourself.

For example, if you decide to sign up for newsletters from us, attend a demonstration or virtual event, create an individual account to use our Services, or apply as an organization to join any of our programs or offerings, TeachUp may collect some or all of the following PII from you: (1) first and last name, (2) school or organization name, (3) role or job title, (4) email address, (5) phone number, (6) location information including state/province and country, and (7) where applicable, a user-generated password for your account. You may also be provided the opportunity to provide a profile image or other information for your account profile.

If you provide us with feedback or contact us via email (e.g., in response to an employment or a program application on our Website), we will collect your name and email address, as well as any other content or information included in or attached to your email, in order to send you a reply. If you order Services from us for a fee, we may also collect information needed for billing and payment purposes that will be processed through a secure third-party payment processor.

We may combine the information we collect directly from you with information we obtain from public sources, partners, and other third parties and use such combined information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

How we will use your data

In summary, we use your personal data to respond to your requests, to provide, secure, and enhance the Services, and to comply with our legal obligations. In particular, TeachUp uses your PII for the following purposes as necessary and as permitted by applicable law:

All customer data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit via TLS.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TeachUp may disclose your PII in the following circumstances:

  • Service Partners: TeachUp may collaborate with affiliated entities or external parties and individuals to assist in fulfilling the objectives outlined previously, such as web hosting services, subcontractors, and entities processing payments on our behalf.
  • Legal Obligations: Under certain circumstances, due to legal obligations, court orders, or requests from public and government bodies within or outside your jurisdiction, TeachUp might need to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Additionally, we reserve the right to disclose your PII when it's deemed crucial for enforcing our terms of service, safeguarding our operations, or ensuring the safety of our users.
  • Corporate Transactions: In the event of a corporate restructuring, including but not limited to mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions, asset sales, financing, or any other similar transactions or proceedings, or in the preparatory stages of such events (e.g., during due diligence), your PII may be shared.
  • Explicit Consent: Your PII might also be shared under other specific scenarios with your explicit and informed consent. Security
